“If you haven’t realized it yet, the field of nursing is bigger than the endotracheal tubes used to sedate elephants for surgery: intimidating, very long, and leading into unlit spaces.”
What’s Next is a practical and easy-to-read guide by Kati Kleber, with whom we also worked for Admit One, a patient’s or patient’s loved one’s guide to the hospital.
What’s Next got the full workup for ANA (American Nurses Association) here at TIPS: copy edit, layout, and proofing. It was fun to work with an author’s voice that was so fresh and candid, but also very technically knowledgeable. The book covers everything a nurse needs to know to gain confidence in their career path, from work culture to tricky cases to professional accreditation.

And check out Admit One: What You Must Know When Going to the Hospital but No One Actually Tells You!, also by Kleber and ANA, here!
